Diannette Rivera is Founder of In Her Zone, Inc. She is a creative HR professional with a passion for Human Resources, Social Media, Personal Branding, HR Branding, Staffing and Non-profits. Diannette strives to bring energy, strategic outlook, leadership and innovation to her role on a daily basis. She also serves as the Program Director for the Human Resources Association of Broward County.

Mary Davids, MSHRM
Mary V. Davids is the Owner and Principal Consultant of D&M Consulting Services, LLC; a leadership and career development agency located in South Florida. Mary has over a decade of experience in cultivating employee engagement, workplace performance and leadership training & development. Believing in the power of personal and professional growth, Mary is devoted to helping people clearly communicate their value while differentiating themselves from the competition.
In addition to her corporate skills, Mary is known for her engaging and powerful Keynote speaking and sharing her expertise in interview etiquette, salary negotiation, social-media leveraging, resume writing and personal branding. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management from Nova Southeastern University. In addition to her leadership and career development work, Mary serves as Co-Council for the Hallandale Beach Chamber in Commerce Women in Business Committee. Shirley L. Toliver, MSHRM, PHR, CSSYB
Shirley Toliver is an HR Leader at UPS with 15 years experience in Workforce Planning, Employee Relations and Talent Acquisition. Shirley has been a national NAAAHR member for nine years and is a founding board member with the NAAAHR South Chapter. Shirley is fortunate to have been able to serve her profession with NAAAHR South Florida for nearly a decade. Additionally, Shirley is a leadership trainer with The GLO Group; a global leadership development firm. In addition Shirley is also a speaker and leverage coach with Life on Power enterprises whereas she is the founder and Chief Leverage Coach.
Shirley serves her community and profession in various ways. She is a member with of United Way of Broward County Mission United serving as an employment committee member ; Shirley is the president elect for the Human Resource Association of Broward County and she is a board member of the woman empowerment group Suits, Stilettos and Lipstick.
Shirley has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Nova Southeastern University. She lives by a quote from the great Maya Angelou “People may not remember what you did or what you said, they will always remember how you made them feel”.
Kay J. Blake, MPA, SPHR, CSSYB
Kay J. Blake is the Manager, Transportation Operations. Previously she held the role of Training and Organizational Development for the School Board of Broward County, Florida’s Transportation division. Kay has over 20 years of experience improving the communications, development, and performance of organizations through expert orchestration of teams, policies, program management, and human resources. Kay has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor’s degree in English from CUNY-Hunter College. She acquired the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) credential in 2007 and is a certified six-sigma yellow belt. Kay serves on NAAAHR’s National Board as SVP of Membership.

Sam W. Hines
Sam Hines is a Business Executive with over 25 years of Human Resource experience. Currently, he is Managing Director of Hines Executive HR Solutions. Formerly serving as Director of Human Resources for the City of Miramar in which he provided support for over 1000 municipal employees. Sam was most recently named one of South Florida’s most powerful and influential Black Professionals & Advisory Board Member of the Year by ICABA.
Tanisha Theresa Richardson was born in Nassau, Bahamas in an area called Bain Town. She attended C.R. Walker Secondary School in Nassau, where she was continuously recognized and awarded for her outstanding academic achievements, positive behavior and commitment to community and culture development. Her achievements granted her the opportunity to attend the top catholic school in the Bahamas, St. Augustine’s College. After graduation, she was employed by Atlantis Hotel and graduated as the Valedictorian for the Atlantis Culinary School. Tanisha was an upcoming culinary star and a force to be reckon with. Her culinary skills landed her at The Culinary Institute of America in New York.
She completed her BA in Business Administration and Management at Sojourner-Douglass College. Tanisha served as a Human Resources Generalist and Payrolls Supervisor with the Bahamas Government or 14 years. She was also a Police Reservist within the Royal Bahamas Police Force Serious Crimes Unit. She completed her MS in Human Resources and Management at Nova Southeastern University.
Tanisha continued her community development and unselfishly volunteering her time with Suits, Stilettoes and Lipsticks, Life on Power, Order of the Eastern Stars and a victim’s advocate for the Lauderhill Police Department.
In 2016, she successfully completed the Career Essentials program in conjunction with NAAAHR. Tanisha has worked as a Human Resources Assistant to more recently HR Manager for both fortune 500 companies and small family owned business. She always states that she is a “babes in total control of herself”; and her desire to succeed is greater than her fear of failure.
