----------------------------------------------------- Giving Back to our Community Over $1600 raised and donated to local Minority Development Empowerment, Inc., a Caribbean community center. They provide services to victims of Haiti's earthquake that are now living in the U.S. This local charity's mission is to provide professional and culturally competent programs and services that empower Caribbean and minority individuals and families. On Tuesday, March 30, 2010 human resource and business professionals from the tri-county area gathered for an evening of networking, inspiration and charity at Nova Southeastern University Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The event was a collaborative effort by (NAAAHR) National Association of African Americans in Human Resources, (NABA) National Association of Black Accountants South Florida Chapter, 100 Black Men Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter, Urban League of Broward County - (YPN) Young Professionals Network, (NBMBAA) National Black MBA South Florida Chapter, and (MDEI) Minority Development and Empowerment Inc. Thank you to our attendees, sponsors, and guest speaker Jerome Hutchinson, President/CEO of ICABA™ Media Holdings, LLC. Your continued support is very much appreciated.
